Artsmark school, Admiral Lord Nelson School (ALNS) in Portsmouth, were named Creative School of the Year at the 2019 TES Awards.
Here at Artis, we strongly believe that the arts inspire and motivate children’s creativity, allowing them to find their voice and open up their imagination. As well as giving them a space to explore challenging themes more openly outside of the formal learning environment, the arts help to build young people’s confidence, resilience and self-esteem.
This week marks Mental Health Awareness Week! We want to celebrate the importance of creativity and how this can help support children and young people’s wellbeing.
