Managing inclusive creative pedagogy and practice

Tuesday 7 May
4.00-5.00pm

In this online session, Dr Caroline Kennedy will explore inclusivity in pedagogy and in the classroom, drawing on her extensive experience in creative practice, teaching and research. With a focus on student-centred approaches, Caroline will also share a practical guide to creative practice workshops.

Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity for further discussion in breakout rooms. Participants are asked to bring an example of their own creative work of any type to share with colleagues in the discussion.

Learning outcomes:

  • identify key approaches to inclusive creative practice teaching in workshops
  • establish the parameters of an inclusive workshop space
  • respond proactively to any diversity in a group using inclusive methodologies
  • understand and practise the development of a safe space in workshops

Spaces are limited so book your ticket soon to avoid missing out!
