SKY Music Hub

Sefton Council and Knowsley Council Music Hubs joined together to create a new Sefton and Knowsley Youth (SKY) Music Hub.

SKY Music Hub is working to develop the range and quality of music education opportunities for children and young people across the two areas.

For example, sharing expertise from each area, broadening the range of opportunities for children and young people and improving the support, training and resources available to teachers in schools.

Sky Music Education hub aims to meet the ambition of the refreshed NPME (2022). The aim of the plan is to enable all children and young people to learn to sing, play an instrument and create music together, and to have the opportunity to progress their musical interests and talents, including professionally.
