Artsmark
in SEND schools
Intro
Artsmark provides a flexible framework to help education settings champion arts, culture and creativity in their learning and teaching environments, and SEND settings are no exception. We have over 250 Artsmark SEND settings and with 60% achieving Gold and Platinum.
Arts engagement is an effective way for your setting to broaden and enrich its learning provision. SEND settings’ highly personalised approach to learning are an opportunity to embrace creativity, providing an outlet for expression and arts-rich learning which has therapeutic as well as educational value.

SEND network
Goldsmiths Artsmark SEND Network – Save the Date
The Goldsmiths Artsmark SEND Network supports teachers from SEND settings through their Artsmark journey through half-termly online meetings.
The next SEND Network meeting will be held on Wednesday 30th September, 2pm-3pm. As it’s the start of the new academic year, this session will focus on planning, and we’ll hear from schools within the network as to how they’ve approached planning for their Artsmark journey.
If you’d like to be added to the GATE Channel or join the session please email goldsmithsartsmark@gold.ac.uk.
