Day to Create: Westfield Arts College's summer art exhibition
On the 6th of July, Westfield Arts College held their annual summer art exhibition to coincide with Day to Create. After having to do this online for the last 2 years due to Covid restrictions, they enjoyed being able to invite visitors back on site to view the exhibition, showcase their hard work and celebrate with friends and family. Pupils from every class across the whole school contributed work towards creating the exhibition.
Westfield is a Dorset Special School for pupils aged 4-19. All pupils have moderate/complex learning difficulties, with many of these having a diagnosis of ASD and a combination of both sensory and learning difficulties. The day was a fantastic opportunity to come together to celebrate creativity after two years of restrictions.
